About
A home kitchen, a Dominican recipe, a lot of parties.
Brenddie started with a cake course, and found she loved both halves of it — the baking and the decorating. That is why she still does both: the cake and the room, not one or the other.
What kept her at it was watching people eat. Dessert changes a room — she noticed it in class and has been chasing it ever since. Her son is still her first taster, and the smile he gets halfway through a slice is the thing she is trying to put on your table.
You can plan the whole thing in English or Spanish — whichever feels like home.

What we collect
When you send a quote request we collect your name, email, phone (optional), event date and type, guest count, what you need, budget range (optional) and whatever you write in the message box. We also note which language you were using, so we can reply in it.
Why
To prepare your quote and reply to you. Nothing else.
How it reaches us
The form is handled by Formspree, which passes your message to [email protected]. Your details sit in that inbox.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent or share your details. We don't run advertising. We don't build a profile on you.
In your browser
Your language choice is saved in your own browser so the site opens the way you left it. It never leaves your device and we can't read it. The site sets no tracking cookies.
Deleting your details

Terms
How we work, in writing.
Last updated October 2026. These apply to every order, so nobody gets a surprise.
Your quote
Every price is quoted in writing from your date, your design and your guest count. A quote holds for 14 days. Nothing is booked until you say yes and the deposit is in.
Holding your date
A 50% deposit holds the date. The date is not held until that payment clears — until then someone else can still book it.
The balance
The remaining 50% is due before delivery or pickup.
Changes
Tell us as early as you can. Guest count, flavours and design can usually be adjusted, and the price moves with them. Close to the date some changes are no longer possible — we will always say so plainly rather than promise something we cannot deliver.
If you cancel
The deposit is not refundable. It holds your date against other bookings and covers ingredients and materials bought for you. If you need to move the date, ask — we will move it when the new date is open.
Delivery and setup
Included within 35 miles of Plainfield. Farther venues are quoted upfront, never added later. We work to your venue\u2019s access rules and timing, and we need somewhere level, shaded and out of the sun to set up.
Food, allergens and our kitchen
Everything is baked in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Department of Health. That same kitchen handles milk, eggs, wheat, soy and tree nuts, so we cannot promise any order is free of an allergen. Tell us about allergies in your request and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do safely. Once your order is handed over, keeping it cool, level and out of direct sun is on you.
Paying us
We will tell you which payment methods we accept when you book. We never ask you to overpay and send money back, and we only ever refund to the same account a payment came from. If anyone contacts you claiming to be us and asks for money returned, it is not us — call the number on this site before you send anything.
Photographs
We photograph our own work and may use those photos in our portfolio and on social media. If you would rather we did not photograph your event, just say so — before or after, either is fine.
What we are responsible for
If something goes wrong on our side, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not responsible for the rest of the event, the venue, or anything outside our control such as weather, traffic or a venue changing its rules on the day.
